Ten teams of forty students participated in the competition. They coded in python programming language to generate a GNH progress wheel upon analysing School Self Assessment and School Improvement document.The teams had around five hours to complete their project.
The team 1980 submitted the best entry for the hackathon and team 2011 was the runners up. They were awarded cash prizes of Nu.3000 and Nu.2000 respectively. All other teams were awarded a consolation prize of Nu.500 each. The prizes were awarded by the CDEO.
