School resumes

16-01-2021 Sonam Wangchu

The Dzongkhag COVID 19TF of Samtse has accorded approval to open schools for classes IX-XII w.e.f 18th January(Monday), 2021. Consequently, the school will resume from the afore mentioned date.

The students and staff are requested to report to school at the usual time. The members must strictly follow COVID-19 protocol.


Lockdown 2.0

Team 1980 Wins

13-12-2020 Sonam Wangchu

The coding club of the school under the auspices of the school administration and Royal Education Council organized a Hackathon on 12th of December 2020.

Ten teams of forty students participated in the competition. They coded in python programming language to generate a GNH progress wheel upon analysing School Self Assessment and School Improvement document.The teams had around five hours to complete their project.


The team 1980 submitted the best entry for the hackathon and team 2011 was the runners up. They were awarded cash prizes of Nu.3000 and Nu.2000 respectively. All other teams were awarded a consolation prize of Nu.500 each. The prizes were awarded by the CDEO.


The school administration decided to make Hackathon an annual event in the school.The event saw the presence of teachers, students, parents, and other visitors.
