Today, Venerable Khenpo Jangsem Tashi enlightened us on the profound connection between our thoughts and the peace we can bring to the world.He emphasized that true happiness comes from helping others and living in harmony with nature. We were reminded of the importance of transcending negative thoughts to achieve lasting happiness and societal unity.
Venerable Khenpo also stressed the need for compassion, wisdom, and respect for all, regardless of differences. He highlighted that harmony, not division, should be the ultimate goal of every religion. Our heartfelt gratitude to Venerable Khenpo for guiding us towards a more peaceful and harmonious life.
Samtse Higher Secondary School hosted a farewell lunch for Mr. Kinzang Wangchuk, the outgoing Deputy Chief District Education Officer of Samtse Dzongkhag, who will be assuming his new role as the Chief District Education Officer of Bumthang Dzongkhag.

This evening, Samtse Higher Secondary School marked a special milestone by celebrating the 25th anniversary of Scouting in Bhutan with a special exhibition.
The Principal inaugurated the exhibition, where students displayed their work and art in various forms of scouting. Judges evaluated the exhibits, and the results will be announced on Monday. The event was a wonderful showcase of our history, achievements, and the spirit of scouting.
Thank you to all the staff and students for their dedication and for coming together to celebrate the adventure and community that Scouting has brought to our youth over the past quarter-century.
