The school wellbeing orientation programme

Today, the Principal and School Counsellor initiated session on the school Wellbeing policy, Substance Use Disorders (SUD), and bullying. The session highlighted about the school Wellbeing policy,the signs and symptoms of mental health issues, SUD, and bullying, emphasizing the importance of early identification. The principal also shared about the survey research finding about the prevelance of bullying in the school.

World Entrepreneurs Day 2024

Samtse HSS celebrated World Entrepreneurs Day with the theme “Honoring the Risk Takers Who Build Tomorrow." Students showcased a drama titled “A Boy Unaware of Business and Entrepreneurship," exploring the journey of discovering business fundamentals. They also delivered presentations on ledger management and bookkeeping, highlighting the importance of financial literacy in entrepreneurship. The event inspired students to think about their own entrepreneurial futures.

Spiritual talk on Happiness and Harmony

Today, Venerable Khenpo Jangsem Tashi enlightened us on the profound connection between our thoughts and the peace we can bring to the world.He emphasized that true happiness comes from helping others and living in harmony with nature. We were reminded of the importance of transcending negative thoughts to achieve lasting happiness and societal unity. Venerable Khenpo also stressed the need for compassion, wisdom, and respect for all, regardless of differences. He highlighted that harmony, not division, should be the ultimate goal of every religion. Our heartfelt gratitude to Venerable Khenpo for guiding us towards a more peaceful and harmonious life.
